Following the opening of its office in Liverpool in December 2016, the John Good Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Neil Flower as Agency Manager North West.

Neil will be responsible for developing the liner and port agency activities for both John Good Logistics and DAN Shipping & Chartering in the Port of Liverpool, the Manchester Ship Canal and the wider River Mersey. Neil brings with him over 30 years’ experience in the ship agency business and is a well known and respected figure amongst the local port community. In addition, Neil is Chairman of the Ship Canal Users and Ship Owners Association and a member of the North West Seaman’s Welfare Committee.

“We are delighted to have Neil on board to help develop our agency activities in the North West as part of our wider expansion plans,” commented Alan Platt, Managing Director of The John Good Group. “We have been steeped in liner and port agency for over 180 years and see a huge potential in this key geographic area for both John Good Logistics and also DAN Shipping & Chartering who are focusing specifically on ship’s agency in the dry bulk and tanker sectors. This development ensures we have our own presence at all main UK ports on the East and West coasts and also in South Wales through our subsidiary, Bay Shipping.”
